Chester Roman Museum

The children have been learning about the Romans for History, as part of this they have visited the Chester Museum, they have had a guided tour of the reconstruction and excavations they have looked at artifacts, food, drink and pottery. Children have dressed for battle and formed a testudo or tortoise formation this was a formation used commonly by the Roman Legions during battles, particularly sieges.
